"In a nutshell (and in English), those are the sounds that represent the earlier stages of the democractic Brazil of the mid 80s to early 90's and that essentially are similar to the feeling of the 2022 Brazil, due to the lack of social awareness, class conscience and the denial of the dictatorship period, which although has ended, still haunts the country until these days. The songs have political messages from the left wing that were empowering back then and continue as strong statements to make the people resist through the social injustice we often see around here."

Inspirado em discursos de pensadores progressistas e/ou à esquerda e nas célebres frases antônimas ao bom senso, é possível perceber o quanto baterias programadas com presets digitais, guitarras com poucos efeitos e sintetizadores de sonoridade obsoleta contrastam a atemporalidade de ideias como a luta de classes, a compreensão de papeis sociais e o aparente mal resolvimento do povo brasileiro com seu passado ditatorial obscuro.

Grudados ao antes ou condenados a um depois que tende a se repetir, o dia da marmota apenas parece uma piada sem graça para quem se propõe a viver no Brasil de hoje. Ou de ontem. Como preferir.
